Market introduction
We are excited to add another new venue to our Christmas Market Tour at Derry Guildhall Square in the heart of the city this Christmas.
Market Place is pleased to be staging a special two-day Christmas Market in Derry’s Guildhall Square from Tuesday 1 to Wednesday 2 December. The event is part of the ‘Christmas Starts Here’ campaign to encourage residents and visitors to explore what’s on offer and support local businesses during this the important Christmas trading period.
The market will enhance the festive programme of events by bringing together quality food, drink, seasonal gifts, artisan products and a warm Christmas atmosphere. The venue at Guildhall Square is in the centre of the city, beside the River Foyle, close to the Peace Bridge, bus station and the main shopping centres, all accessible on foot. The venue offers the perfect location for residents and visitors to explore and enjoy with a welcoming start to the festive season.
